National Library Week at APL

April 9 @ 8:00 am - April 15 @ 5:00 pm

Anderson Public Library is celebrating National Library Week (April 9th-15th, 2017) by offering a Crafting Event, Coffee and Donuts, the Six Word Story Contest, and a door prize.

First Sponsored in 1958 National Library Week is a national observance sponsored by the American Library Association (ALA) and libraries across the country each April

Monday, April 10th – Door Prize – sign up and the winner is announced Saturday.

Tuesday, April 11th – Crafting Free For All – choose one of four possible Craft Kits to make at APL or take it home to make.

Wednesday, April 12th – Coffee and Donuts from 9-11 AM

Thursday, April 13th – Turn in your Six Word Story by 6:00 PM on the topic of libraries – the word library does not have to be used.  Winner announced Saturday.
