This past Thursday, the new shoe store at the Kroger Shopping Center, Shoe Sensation, celebrated their official grand opening with a ribbon cutting. The company, which chose Lawrenceburg for their 149th store, invited the Anderson County Chamber of Commerce, and more to celebrate the grand opening.
According to Mark Roche, VP of Divisional Merchandising, Shoe Sensation started over 35 years ago with a single store in Jeffersonville, Indiana. During that time, they have expanded into 18 different states, looking for locations particularly in smaller cities that don’t have a shoe store. Each store also works to participate in the local community hiring local staff, joining local chambers of commerce, and helping charities.
The new store features a wide variety of shoes and boots from brands like Nike, New Balance, Dan Post and more. For more information, check out their website.Read More
