Fall Vendor Fair to Help Those in Need

As a kick off to the Fall and Holiday season, the LIGHT Center of Lawrenceburg will be hosting its third vendor fair, with proceeds going to help residents in need in the county.

According to LIGHT Center director, Bryan Proctor, the upcoming Fall Craft and Vendor Fair will be the largest one yet.  He explained that there will be at least 32 different vendors, with no duplication of items sold among the vendors.  Some of the vendors include Jamberry, Young Living, Pampered Chef, Tupperware, Homespun Candle Company, and much more.

As like the previous fairs, each vendor will be raffling off an item.  Tickets, which cost $1 for a single one, $5 for seven, and $10 for fifteen, could net winners with prizes worth over $200.

Bryan attributes the success and growth of this year’s fair to his wife, Stephanie, who has been instrumental in organizing and contacting vendors.  She also came up with this year’s new, unique item at the fair which will be bringing in 100 popsicles from Steel City Pops in Lexington as a chance for residents to try out new Kentucky made flavors.

All proceeds from the raffles will be benefiting the LIGHT Center.  The non-profit center has been instrumental in helping many Anderson County residents who are in need. “We’re restoring hope to individuals in Anderson County who are struggling in different ways,” Bryan said.

The fair will be held on September 30th from 10am to 2pm at the Christian Academy of Lawrenceburg.  For more information and a complete list of vendors, click on the event’s flyer.
