The Anderson County Community Education Center got a special sprucing up yesterday as volunteers got together to help as part of the United Way’s Day of Action.

The Day of Action brings together thousands of volunteers across the world. Within our local region, the United Way of the Bluegrass organized volunteers across a number of central Kentucky communities to lend a hand for the organization’s many local partners in the region.

In Anderson County, the volunteers helped clean up the community education center.  According to volunteer, Donna Crain Drury, they planted flowers, cleaned windows, and did various inside projects at the center.
