New Automotive Shop Promises Best Service

A Lawrenceburg automotive mechanic has decided to take customer service to the next level and opened his own shop to provide the best possible service.

Keith Dennis grew up and lived in Lawrenceburg all his life and for much of that time repaired cars.  He graduated from Anderson County High School while taking the automotive tech program in Harrodsburg.  After high school, he decided to attend Bluegrass Community and Technical College.

Keith then became a service center manager for a Valvoline Instant Oil Change center.  He explained that he learned much of the auto repair business there.  During his time there and at CC Auto in Harrodsburg, he did numerous repairs on the side and built up a large clientele.

Branching out more on his own, he opened his own company last year, called KD Customz out on US127 near Bypass Motors.  Starting out only at a part time basis, his business still quickly grew, and he has now decided to open full time.

His biggest goal at his shop is to provide the most honest service available, which in the automotive industry isn’t always easy to find.  “I want to bring back the honest, trustworthy mechanic,” Keith said.

He also wants to give back to the community that helped him get as far as he has.  He explained that he is planning to do community sponsorships as his business grows. “Without the people in this community, I wouldn’t be able to be doing what I am now,” Keith said.
