Lawrenceburg will make a mark on a national level this June as both Four Roses and Wild Turkey host a hometown social event downtown as part of the Kentucky Bourbon Affair.

The Kentucky Bourbon Affair is a special bourbon event held across multiple Kentucky distilleries during early June.  Organized by the Kentucky Distillers Association, the affair is considered as the ultimate bourbon fantasy camp, where bourbon lovers from all over the country enjoy behind the scenes access to distilleries and talk with many master distillers.

For this year’s affair, both Four Roses and Wild Turkey decided to host a special shared event on Main Street to celebrate the exceptional bourbon produced here in this county as well as to show off the revitalized downtown district.  Jill Pendygraft from Four Roses also explained that Anderson County is the only county that has two participating distilleries on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail and hosting such an event together would be great for everyone participating.

The Hometown Social Event, which will be held on June 8th from 6:30pm to 10:30pm, will feature a private dinner and bourbon program for guests who purchased a ticket.  However, no ticket is necessary to enjoy the entertainment at the event.  Downtown store owners will also have an opportunity to participate by giving away items, coupons, etc.
