There will be some great fun and shopping this weekend for many Anderson County residents, with raffle proceeds going to help those in need.

The LIGHT Center will be hosting its second vendor fair at the Christian Academy of Lawrenceburg on Saturday.  Called the Spring Fling Vendor Fair, there will be dozens of different vendors offering various items like crafts, hand made soaps, jewelry, cosmetics, food, and much more.

According to LIGHT Center director, Bryan Proctor, the fair will also feature raffles of dozens of items donated by the vendors.  Raffle ticket proceeds, which will be $1 for one ticket or $8 for ten, will go to the LIGHT Center, which directly helps Anderson County residents in need.

Created and developed by Sonia Spencer, the fair was a success last fall, offering many holiday related items.  According to Bryan, they raised over $1000 last year and feels that this year’s fair will be even bigger.

The Spring Fling Vendor Fair will be hosted at the Christian Academy of Lawrenceburg this Saturday, March 18th, from 10am to 2pm.  For more information about the LIGHT Center, check out their Facebook page.
