Lawrenceburg’s newest restaurant will be officially opening this coming Tuesday.  Featuring a variety of college and school sports team namesake sandwiches, Reds Tavern is promising to be a great spot for anyone wanting a great sandwich and to support their favorite college sports team.

The new restaurant, which is located next to the Hometown Pizza on Glensboro Road, is owned and operated by Jennifer and Tony McGaughey. They are planning to open the restaurant this Tuesday at 11am.

The new restaurant will specialize in creating stuffed burgers, or also called inside out burgers.  And all of the sandwiches will be named after SEC universities, like the Wildcat Bacon Blue which will be an 8oz burger stuffed with blue cheese and bacon. Even the ACHS Bearcats will also have their own burger named after them.

Reds Tavern will also have a number of other meal options like steaks and seafood, including ribeye and catfish, that will be served on Fridays and Saturdays. For more information, check out their Facebook page.
