Recently, the Anderson County Farm Bureau Federation was awarded a mini-grant from the Kentucky Farm Bureau.  The purpose of this grant was to fund an educational program with the intent of increasing agriculture literacy in Anderson County.  Anderson County Farm Service, Inc. assisted in acquiring egg incubation equipment for each of the three elementary schools in the Anderson County Public Schools District and for the Christian Academy of Lawrenceburg.  This equipment will be used to teach students about life cycles and the importance of agriculture in their every-day life.
