Restaurant Owner to Giveaway 100 Meals to Those in Need

Ciara Hyatt from Homemade Takeout is once again giving back to the community this holiday season in an even larger way to spread more love and joy.  Last year, she hosted the first annual Christmas Dinner Giveaway Meal where she gave away around 50-60 servings of delicious meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and green beans for those in need.  This year, she is planning to double that and serve around 100 people.

Ciara explained that the meals are intended for those in financial as well as emotional need.  She would like to help those who may be alone for the holidays and grieving as well as hard working families who have little time to make homemade nutritious meals.  She is asking the community to help get these meals out to anyone in need.

The meal, which will be the same as last year with meatloaf, mashed potatoes, green beans and bread, will be served this Monday, December 12th.  Sponsoring meals and donations are welcomed; however, she would like to concentrate on making sure the meals go to those in need.

To reserve a spot in the meal for someone in need, you can contact Ciara through Facebook or by 502-680-0575.
