2016 Lawrenceburg Christmas Parade Highlights

Yesterday, the City of Lawrenceburg held their annual Christmas Parade with the theme “I’ll Be Home for Christmas.”  Making it a tribute for our service men and women in the armed forces, float makers and decorators honored our veterans and active duty members with various military themes.  Veteran Bobby Thornberry led the parade as grand marshal.

In the floats category, the Anderson County Burgoo Festival’s float won first place while the girl scouts and the clerk’s office won second and third respectively.  The Anderson Humane Society won first place in the novelties category along with the 4H club winning second and Donnie Waldridge winning third.
