For The Love of Coffee at Off The Ground

For the love of coffee, Kim Knight and Lora Harrison just recently opened their new coffee shop on Main Street, called Off The Ground Coffee House.  The brand new coffee house is serving a variety of coffees including cappuccinos and macchiatos as well as baked goods, savory items, and even milkshakes.

Kim originally came from Alabama and Lora from Lexington but both now reside in Lawrenceburg and have been for many years.  With both their husbands serving in the Kentucky National Guard as pilots, they met each other and became friends.

With Kim having experience running a coffee shop on Main Street during the mid 1990s, they decided to create Off The Ground next to the new parking lot on Main Street.  Starting in late May, they and their husbands worked hard to build the new store into a beautiful coffee house.

The coffees that they are serving are specially blended just for their store.  From lattes to mochas, they are offering a multitude of unique flavors.  They also have a number of sweet items like muffins, brownies, as well as milk shakes and ice cream and even savory items like croissants and soups.

Off The Ground Coffee House will be open Monday through Thursday 7am-6pm, Friday and Saturday 7am-8pm, and they will be closed Sunday.
