Showcasing Breast Cancer Survivors to Raise Awareness

Norman Brimm from Anderson Sports Photography is taking a stand against breast cancer for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  He wants to raise awareness and raise donations for the American Cancer Society by creating a photo shoot highlighting all of Anderson County’s breast cancer survivors.

Printed photos from the shoot will be sold with all profits after printing costs being donated to the American Cancer Society.  According to Norman, if enough survivors participate in the shoot, he will instead create a 2017 calendar that will be sold around Lawrenceburg to raise more donations.  All participants in the shoot will receive a free copy.

Norman feels this will be a great way to point out just how strong Anderson County survivors are. “I think this can be big and we can showcase the strength of the women in our community,” he said.

The photo shoot is being planned at the Wild Turkey Visitor Center, overlooking the bridges crossing the Kentucky River.  It will be held on October 27th at 6pm with a black and pink themed attire.  Please contact Norman at to register to participate.
