With back to school just around the corner, parents are rushing about, getting their children ready for school.  A hair cut for your child is just one of many things needed, and Mo’s Uppercuts on Glensboro Road is making it easier for parents.

Maureen Bryant, owner of Mo’s. has been styling hair for 28 years ever since she graduated at the Kaufman Beauty College in Lexington.  After working for a number of years for other haircut places, she ended up going on her own with her shop at Hilltop Drive.

After moving her salon to Glensboro Road, other stylists joined her, including Maddie Drury, Melinda Shirley, and new stylist Chesney Waddell.  Both Maureen and Melinda specialize in cutting children’s hair.  Maureen has also worked with a number of autistic children and Melinda can communicate with the deaf.

To also help parents, Maureen is giving a whole basket full of school supplies, including pens, paper, notebooks, and more, to one lucky family who receives a haircut from now until August 9th.  She is also giving away a portable water bottles full of candy to all children who receive a haircut while supplies last.  For more information about Mo’s Uppercuts, check out their website.
