We are proud to announce a brand new addition to the Main Street revitalization.  The Downtown Lawrenceburg KY Visitor Center is set to serve the community in both bolstering Lawrenceburg pride and drawing more tourists to our community.

Located at the corner of South Main and Jackson Streets, the visitor center started as an idea to bring more people to the downtown district who are on the Bourbon Trail while traveling from Wild Turkey to Four Roses Distilleries.  By promoting local attractions, businesses, and events, the center serves as a hub for everyone, including residents and tourists alike.

But it is much more than a directory.  Lawrenceburg has an incredible history, built on bourbon, the railroad, and horses.  The center has an entire wall exhibit showing some of this history and books chronicling the stories of the town and region.

And what would a visitor center be without a host of Lawrenceburg themed gifts?  From t-shirts to aprons, we not only designed but printed them right here in town.  There’s even a great selection of Four Roses and Kentucky Bourbon Trail items for all bourbon enthusiasts.  Local authors and musicians are also represented with host of books and CDs.

The visitor center will also soon be home to a marketplace where crafters, artists, and all those who are creative would like to sell their items.  Set up every weekend so visitors can not only buy local items but talk with the crafters, the marketplace will bring a personal connection to a collection of unique items.

Touring Lawrenceburg also got a little more fun.  The center is hosting the start of the Lawrenceburg Ghost Walk by Jeff Waldridge this year and will soon be offering more tours showcasing the history and more of this great city.

The visitor center is open Monday through Friday from 11am to 4pm and Saturday from 10am to 4pm and is located right across Jackson Street from Farmers Bank.  For more information about selling at the marketplace, please contact us at
