The Anderson County Home, Craft, and Garden Fair had another amazing collection of entries this year.  The fair, which is open to anyone in the state, features all different kinds of creations from vegetables picked out in the garden to hand carved wood statues.

The fair is housed each July at the county cooperative extension office and is sponsored by the Anderson County Extension Homemakers.  Anyone of any age can enter their creations, and many of Lawrenceburg’s children entered their art in the contest this year.  From preschool on up to adult, the art section was well represented, including the Dowler family who not only had an artistic photograph entered but also creations from the children.

Congratulations to all the winners and those selected for the Best in Show table.  The entries listed below for Best in Show were outstanding:

Joan Beard, Art
Darlene Terrell, Horticulture
