Family Run Kentucky Transmissions Celebrates 25th Anniversary

Kentucky Transmissions, which is located just off of US127 at the northern end of the county, is celebrating their 25th year in business.  Kerry and Renee Branam are the current operators of the Lawrenceburg business.  But before fixing transmissions, they were landscapers in Indianapolis for nearly 20 years.  Throughout his years as a landscaper, Kerry learned to fix the various pieces of equipment for the trade and learned vital skills that he would use later on here in Kentucky.

After moving to Kentucky, Kerry started working alongside his brother who owned Kentucky Transmissions.  Kerry and his crew, including a transmission rebuilder with 33 years of experience, pride themselves in providing true and fair repairs.  When they overhaul a transmission, they take it completely apart, inspect and clean the parts, install a new torque converter and all required updated parts.  They also make sure to honor what they quote customers for a price, even if it costs more to repair the problem than what was the original price.  Kerry also likes to give full out the door pricing which includes costs of parts, labor and tax, so the customers know exactly how much it would cost in the end.

To celebrate the business’s 25th anniversary, they are offering free diagnostics. For more information about Kentucky Transmissions, check out their Facebook page or website.
