Sweet Mash to Celebrate One Year Anniversary

Tamara Smith and Dawn BogieOn The Go Cups

Tomorrow marks the one year anniversary of one of the first new stores to open on Main Street.  Sweet Mash has made its mark in Lawrenceburg, offering a very large selection of unique bourbon and local Kentucky items that are difficult to find anywhere else.

Tamara Smith and Dawn Bogie came up with the idea of the store when realizing that Lawrenceburg was missing out on capturing the bourbon tourist industry.  “I have seen where this community is missing out on the whole bourbon industry,”  Tamara said.  “It’s been strange how the town has never honed in on it.”

Opening a year ago tomorrow, Sweet Mash has drawn many of bourbon tourists downtown to enjoy our re-surging Main Street.  Dawn and Tamara are incredibly thankful for all the support they have received over the past year.  They’re planning to continue expanding into regular events at the store.

To celebrate their one year anniversary, they’ll be offering a 25% off store wide sale (excluding Yetti coolers) as well as giving away 50 on the go cups to the first 50 people tomorrow.  They’ll also be having a chicken salad sampling from Christy Jane’s on Main from 3pm to 7pm.  For more info on Sweet Mash, check out their Facebook page.
