It was a long, hard day for County Clerk Jason Denny and his team working the elections.  Starting at 3am this morning, they were out prepping the polling places.  And just a short time ago, they processed the results for Anderson County.

On the Democratic side, Bernie Sanders took the Presidential primary by over 500 votes, Jim Gray took the US Senator primary by a landslide, and Nancy Jo Kemper took the 6th District US Representative primary.  For the Republicans, Rand Paul took the Senator primary, and Andy Barr took the representative primary.  Republican Presidential voting took place earlier in the year via a caucus.

The below graph shows the results by the 14 districts in Anderson County.  According to Jason, Anderson County was in the top twenty first reporting counties in the state, and they also had a great turnout for the election considering the weather. Click the image to enlarge:
