Students from the Christian Academy of Lawrenceburg were determined to give back to the community this morning, despite the bad weather.  According to CAL teacher, Joshua Overton, juniors and seniors from the school went out to the Anderson County Senior Center this morning to help clean up the landscaping, plant flowers, put down mulching.   “[They’re] trying to help out in the community,” Joshua said.

Opal Phillips from the senior center was very impressed with the work the students were doing.   “They have been working since 8 o’clock even in the bad weather,” Opal said.  “It’s wonderful to see them working.”
