Anderson County ASAP Announces Scholarships

The Anderson County Agency for Substance Abuse Policy has announced that it will be giving four $500 scholarships to Anderson County students in two different options.  Any high school student in his or her senior year is eligible, including those from the Anderson County High School, Apex Academy, Christian Academy of Lawrenceburg, and any Anderson homeschoolers.  Both scholarship options involve the mission of ASAP in preventing drug and alcohol abuse.  The first one, called the “Overcomer” Scholarship, will be presented to those who have faced and overcame obstacles related to drug use and/or addiction in his/her family or personal life.  The other one, called the “Leadership” Scholarship, will be presented to those students who display leadership qualities in school, church and/or community activities.  Both scholarship options will have one male and one female winner.  Applications for the scholarships are due no later than April 24th.  For more information about the scholarships and to download the application, check the below files:
