Bearcat Pride Foundation Receives Two $5000 Donations

Last month, during an Anderson County High School basketball game, the Bearcat Pride Foundation received two $5000 donations.  The foundation is dedicated to recreating the ACHS football field with synthetic turf to not only improve the field but also allow it to be used for multiple sports.

The first donation of $5000 was from Charlie Cammack, a lifelong resident of Anderson County and former president of Lawrenceburg National Bank and former vice chairman of Farmers Bank.  His daughter, Stephanie Barnes, was an ACHS cheerleader and is now teaching in the Anderson County School system.  His grandchildren also attend Anderson County Schools and play in the schools’ sports programs.

The second donation was from Pam Ware who is one of the foundation’s board members.  Both, her and her late husband, Bob, graduated from ACHS and have been supporters of the athletic programs in the county.  We and the rest of the county thank both for their amazing contributions!
