Eric Chrisman’s Family Receives Large Donation

Tonight, at the Christian Academy of Lawrenceburg, there was a very special presentation between the school’s basketball games.  Chuck Geveden from Telmate Corporation presented a $2500 check from their fallen heroes fund to the family of fallen Kentucky State Trooper Eric Chrisman to go toward their scholarship fund.  Telmate, which is a California based national company that provides information technology to law enforcement and corrections officers, setup a fallen heroes fund last summer as part of their Telmate Cares initiative. Since they started the fund, they’ve made contributions to fallen heroes in California and beyond.  This was the third presentation in Kentucky, and the Christian Academy was chosen for this presentation since Eric graduated there.  Lead minister Terry Cooper from Ninevah Christian Church, which was where Eric Chrisman attended, also gave a moving speech before Chuck presented the check to Eric’s parents.

If anyone would like to donate to the Eric Chrisman Scholarship Fund, the Christian Academy and Century Bank will be accepting donations.
