Hometown Pizza Nears Opening

General Manager Henry Day

A long awaited restaurant is getting closer to opening.  Hometown Pizza will be opening their new location in Lawrenceburg at the old Edwardo’s Pizza location on Glensboro Road.  The inside of the restaurant is currently being completely renovated with new fixtures being installed including a bar.

General manager of the new store, Henry Day, said that they are planning to open on or around February 22nd.  As they near the grand opening date, they will be hiring around 30 to 35 employees who will be trained at their other locations before finishing their training at the new location a week before opening.  The store will be open Sunday through Thursday from 11am to 10 pm and Friday/Saturday from 11am to 11:30pm.

They also have great ideas for the future.  “We have some great plans for the spring and summertime.  Hopefully will have a patio out back,” Henry said.  In addition, they will hosting a number of fundraisers and community support projects once they open.

  1. I know that fundraising helps a lot of people. It was great for Edwardo’s until it got to where people could not get waited on and get their food in a timely order due to the fact the helpers had no understanding on how to wait on tables and serve food. I hope you don’t make the same mistake. I am looking forward to your opening. Thank you for letting me comment.
