A Community Creates a Miracle

Last week, the community got together to help children in need receive winter clothing.  Ralph Haile, a volunteer at the Anderson County Senior Center, heard the call from the Salvation Army that they desperately needed winter clothing for children.  The community quickly came together when the word got out and many people donated items, some of them even brand new.  Ralph said he witnessed a miracle with all the items that were donated.  By this past Friday, he had already brought three truck loads of donated items to the Salvation Army with a fourth truck already filled.  He will be continuing to bring more items to the Salvation Army as they are donated.
