City is Prepared for Upcoming Snowfall

With the first significant snowfall predicted to happen tonight into tomorrow morning, the City of Lawrenceburg Maintenance Department is now well prepared to take on whatever snow that may fall.  After last year’s devastating fire to the city maintenance building, destroying their snow removal equipment that happened right in the middle of the snow season, the city has rebuilt the building and purchased new snow equipment including dump trucks, salters, and plows.  They also have around 400 tons of salt ready to keep the city roads ice free.
