Yesterday, there was a special event at our newest physical therapy clinic.  KORT, which opened an office here in Lawrenceburg earlier this year, held a holiday open house for anyone to visit, talk with the staff, and enjoy a free lunch.  They also accepted donations of food for Open Hands Pantry.

The open house attracted a number of prominent local figures including City Clerk Robbie Hume, Judge Executive Orbrey Gritton, and Anderson County Chamber of Commerce Director Pam Brough.  But there was one very unexpected visitor at the open house: former Transylvania basketball coach Don Lane.  Coach Don, who coached at Transylvania University for 26 years, is a nationally recognized coach and has been inducted into the Kentucky Basketball Hall of Fame.  Not only that, he was also Judge Executive Orbrey Gritton’s coach when he was at Transy from 1985-89.  Everyone at the open house were excited to meet Coach Don and had a great time.
