Experience Anderson Marching Band Play at Inauguration Parade

Today, Kentucky’s new governor, Matt Bevin, was sworn in, and to celebrate the inauguration, a parade was held through downtown Frankfort.  As part of the parade, a number of college and high school marching bands from around the state were selected to perform.  The Anderson County Marching Band was chosen due to its past great performances at the state competitions.

We recorded the marching band from start to finish today, documenting every step as they prepped at the high school to when they performed for the new governor.  The band and director, Patrick Brady, had a great performance as they marched through the streets of Frankfort ending at the state capitol before heading to lunch at the Cracker Barrel.  The students enjoyed the experience and were honored to be one of the select bands for the parade.  Be sure to watch the video and get to see all the work the band does as if marching right along side.
