Lots of Christmas Events Downtown This Weekend

Main Street is being transformed into a holiday wonderland as the city prepares for an exciting time. This weekend, Lawrenceburg will celebrate Christmas the old fashioned way. Starting Friday night, the City of Lawrenceburg will be having the Annual Remembrance Roll Call at 6pm followed by the Lighting of the Green. Saturday morning, Main Street will begin its amazing celebration with “Breakfast with Elsa and Friends” at Bourbon Street on Main starting at 8:30 am. From 9 am to 4 pm, the Christian Academy of Lawrenceburg will be hosting their Holiday Craft Fair.  The City of Lawrenceburg Annual Christmas Parade will begin this year at 11 am, starting at the American Legion Park and traveling downtown on Main Street. Following this awesome parade, Bourbon Barrel Boutique will be having a “Santa Workshop” offering free photos with Santa sponsored by the City of Lawrenceburg and Downtown Lawrenceburg KY. There will be crafts, refreshments and lots of great fun for the kids. For the adults, the Pampered Feet will be having their first Annual Book Festival. Several authors from Lawrenceburg, including Don White, will be signing and selling their books. There will be free refreshments served by Heavens to Betsy!  To find out more about all the events happening throughout Anderson County, check out our event calendar.
