Three Local Residents to Appear on KET Documentary

Tonight, KET will be airing a documentary about Kentucky Chautauqua, which is a program that brings history to life through in depth portrayals and reenactments of historical figures.  This program began in 1992 and has brought to life more than 70 prominent historical figures from Kentucky’s past.  Tonight’s documentary will show how the program was developed by the Kentucky Humanities Council along with a look behind the scenes at the extensive auditions and research to produce this amazing program.  The documentary will also show shorten versions of many of the Chautauqua performances including three by Lawrenceburg residents.  Martin Harley and Greg Breeding will be portraying the Carlisle Brothers and Jim Sayre will be portraying Abraham Lincoln. The documentary airs tonight, Monday, November 16th at 9 pm on KET and will also be on Wednesday, November 18 at 10 pm on KET2.
