This morning starts the First Annual Anderson Community Education Fall Arts & Crafts Festival at the Cooperative Extension Building in the Anderson County Park.  The festival is full of amazing hand crafted items from around the county that would make perfect gifts for the holidays or even Christmas decorations for your house.  Be sure to check out the LIGHT Center’s booth run by Donna Crain Drury who is raffling a number of great items, the Burgoo Festival booth run by Diane Wells who is selling awesome hand made snowmen built from donated lumber and materials, Doug Stratton who is selling fun stick horses for kids, and Gary Zeller who is creating balloon art to help raise money to build a house in Haiti for those in need.  The festival will be going on for the rest of today until 3pm.
