Big Crowds at Church Trunk or Treat Events

Halloween began a few days early here in Lawrenceburg with many of the local churches holding their annual Trunk or Treat events. Families, along with many volunteers, came together to create a lot of great fun for the children that attended.

First Baptist Church on Main Street got started with a large crowd lining up in the parking lot. Many of the trunks were decorated for the occasion and many of the people giving candy got into the spirit of Halloween by dressing up. Delicious food was also on the menu for everyone that attended.

With the weather being a bit unpredictable, Sand Spring Baptist Church held their event in the sanctuary and also in their fellowship hall. With lots of great food and candy, all the families that attended had an awesome time.

The United Methodist Church also had their event indoors in their gymnasium. With face painting, games, crafts and many other activities, this event had the children very busy with lots of great fun. The church also served yummy food for everyone that attended.

As the evening continued, Alton Baptist Church also had an event called Harvest of Treats. This event was held indoors because of the weather, but it did not stop all families from having a great time.
