Today, Judge Executive Orbrey Gritton and State Representative James Tipton met with representatives at the Anderson County Senior Center.  They discussed the various meal services the center provides, including 35 congregate meals served three times a week, over 20 home delivered meals served three times a week, and more.  They also talked about the various sources of support for their meal services and how local government can help improve their situation so they can continue delivering meals to home bound senior residents.

After the meeting, Judge Executive Gritton and State Representative Tipton met with Wayne Richards, who along with Mike Sparrow, delivers meals to home bound seniors every Friday, and helped deliver meals today.  The seniors were very grateful to have their local politicians help in such a way.
