Today was the ribbon cutting at the new LIGHT Center here in Lawrenceburg. The center, which will provide assistance for people in need to find charities and cut back charity abuse, is now officially opened to the public. Many were in attendance for the event including County Clerk Jason Denny, Judge Executive Orbrey Gritton, Mayor Sandy Goodlett, State Representative James Tipton, and even Former Governor and State Senator Julian Carroll. There were at least 35 others in attendance and many felt excited about the center and think it will be a major benefit for the community. We wish the center much luck as they begin to help the community.
