Lawrenceburg Family in Need

Just when things seem to be going well, tragedy can hit. This happened to one of Lawrenceburg’s families. Back in July of this year, Jason Buck, PHI flight paramedic, was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident while going to work, leaving his right leg crushed. Over the past few months, his wife Angela, part time nurse practitioner at the Lawrenceburg office of Danville Pediatrics, and their 3 small children are trying hard to take on the duties of their farm as well as the care for Jason.

Since the accident, Jason has had 7 surgeries and more is planned in the future as the doctors keep trying to save his leg. Unfortunately, as time has passed, the medical bills are coming in with amounts in the hundred thousands of dollars. This, along with his paid leave running out before his long-term disability begins, has left this family is need of help. A benefit, sponsored by Jason’s employer, has been set up to help raise money and show support to Jason and his family. It is scheduled for Saturday, October 17, 2015 at the Elk’s Lodge at 255 Shoppers Drive in Winchester, KY. Also, friends of the family have set up a GoFundMe page. If you like to help this family in any way, please contact Randi White at 502 600 1639 or email is randi_0407@yahoo.com.

Prayers are being lifted that all goes well with the Buck family.
