The Commonwealth Credit Union in Lawrenceburg near the old food court is currently having a free “Community Shred Day” where residents can bring documents with confidential information to be shredded for free.  The Paper Predator is near the credit union’s parking lot with a full mobile shredding system, ready to shred thousands of pages of paper which will then be recycled.  Officer James Dunn from the Lawrenceburg Police Department is also on site providing security to make sure everything is shredded.  The credit union is also having a food drive for the Backpack Snack program which provides snacks and food for children in need.  The shredding event and food drive will be going on until 2pm today, and there has already been a large turnout.
