Hard Game for Bearcats Football

The Anderson County High School Bearcats Football team were away yesterday at Boyle County, facing off against the #1 ranked Rebels.  Starting with a lightning and storm delay, the game was finally kicked off with Anderson winning the coin toss, but the game quickly turned against the Bearcats.  During the first quarter, the Rebels scored numerous touchdowns while the Bearcats were only able to get a single touchdown, making the score 28-7.  Boyle County hit hard again in the second quarter, bringing the score to 43-7.  But through miraculous will, the Bearcats defense stopped the Rebel onslaught during the second half.  They kept the Rebels in check, and the Bearcats offense managed to score two more touchdowns before the end of the game, making the score 43-21, Boyle County.
