Today was the open house of the Saffell House Funeral Home, and it was a great turnout.  Possibly over 100 people visited the house and enjoyed the refreshments and spectacular heritage and history of the house.  A number of county officials were also in attendance including Judge Executive Orbrey Gritton and County Clerk Jason Denny showing their support of the new funeral home owned by Nathan and Mackenzie Morris.  An hour into the open house, the Anderson County Chamber of Commerce had the ribbon cutting with Nathan and Mackenzie cutting the ribbon.  To much applause, the ribbon was cut and the new funeral home was now officially opened.  We wish Nathan and Mackenzie great success in their new business.
