New Store Owners with a Big Heart

Diana Morgan

Nestled in a small building off West Broadway, Polka Dot Kids Consignment and Boutique has been in operation for about four years but was just recently purchased by sisters, Christy Morgan Ball and Diana Morgan.  Before purchasing the store, Christy was a frequent shopper and really enjoyed the store.  When she heard it was for sale, she jumped on the opportunity with the help of her sister Diana.  The sisters, who purchased it in March of this year, are continuing the tradition of the original owners.  The store, filled with beautiful, barely used kids clothing and accessories, is an excellent place for parents to find great deals and fabulous clothes for their children.  It’s also a great place for parents to sell their lightly used children’s clothing via the store’s consignment system which lets customers earn money every time an item sells in the store.

But not only this, the new owners have made sure to give back to the community.  When they learned of a family whose house burned and was needing clothing for their children, Diana said that they donated clothing to them.  They also donate all the clothes that can’t be sold to local charities, and they are planning to be apart of next year’s Relay for Life event.  So if you’re looking for some great deals and owners who love the community, stop by Polka Dot Kids at 602 West Broadway and check them out on Facebook.  They’re also having a big back to school sale throughout the month of August.
