Native Dawn Flute Gathering at the Green

This weekend, the Lawrenceburg Green will be hosting the 5th Annual Native Dawn Flute Gathering. This two day festival will include over 20 musical guests from across the country along with Aztec Dancers, Red Circle Singer Drum Group and craft artists. This is an awesome family event and is completely free to attend.

Fred Nez-Keams, the organizer of the festival, is a native Navajo and amazing flutist. He has put this festival together each year to share and educate the public about the Native Americans along with the celebration of the flute.

So, stop by this weekend and enjoy this one of a kind event. Opening ceremonies begin at 8 am on Saturday which continues throughout the day ending with the Aztec Dancers performing from 6 pm to 7 pm. Sunday begins at 8 am and ends at 5 pm. Bring your chairs and blankets and join the community in this celebration.
