A cool, light breeze greeted the movie goers last night at the free monthly movie night on the Lawrenceburg Green.  Sponsored by Commonwealth Credit Union, a large screen was stretched out on the gazebo, a bounce house was inflated for the kids, and numerous snack and food vendors pitched their tents providing a fun and relaxing atmosphere similar to the old drive in movies.  Many of the kids and parents there were having a great time enjoying snacks and playing as they waited for the movie to start.  Kevin Bierly and son DJ Bierly said that they enjoyed watching the movies and have been coming every month.  They also said that they enjoyed the free popcorn, which is given away by the owners of Print Graphics, Dan Stumph and Amy Crume.  Dan and Amy greeted us and everyone there with great hospitality, and said that this was a way for them to give back to the community.

There’s only one more movie night this year which will be on August 28th, showing Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
