Back in the Day – Jo Blackburn Bridge

imageIn 1932 the Jo Blackburn Bridge was built and named after Joseph Clay Styles Blackburn, a Democratic Representative and Senator from Kentucky. This bridge is one of the few bridges in the world that has two curves in it. Originally this bridge was a toll bridge and the toll booth is visible in the photo.
